This collection is a distant but tangible memory of certain colors, animals and symbols that remind me, at precise moments, of the magical and mystical world that exists around us. Totems are spirit beings that complement each person through each life cycle, acting as guides. They are sacred objects and symbols that portray the close relationship between humans, nature and the lived environment. Snakes, hummingbirds, rainbows, stars, the overcast sun and the perfume of a flower are some of the friends that I have recently invited into my life to commit myself to remember to live with purpose and always be my true self. These pieces are handmade by artisans who patiently work with their hands & their imagination to create and bring to life these collections. Each piece is carefully handwoven using natural palm leaves and take 8 to 16 hours to complete. It is truly a work of love.
